Warehouse Worker Job Description

Location: San Diego, CA

**Schedule: **Third shift ***12 am - 10:30 am***

Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Worker to join our team at our facility in San Diego, CA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, and organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate and timely data entry for GXP documents and ERP transactions.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, storage, and processing of goods.
• Perform periodic inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
• Stage material for production purposes.
• Load and unload trucks using industrial equipment.
• Transfer material to proper storage areas.
• Inspect and verify materials, labels, and documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Actively participate in and support site and team projects and initiatives.
• Engage in cross-functional team projects to create Standard Operating Procedures, Scopes of Work, Training materials, and other tasks.
• Operate all applicable radiation detection equipment.
• Adhere to Novartis values and behaviors.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a warehouse setting preferred
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
• Excellent organizational and time management skills

Salary info:

$20 - $25 / hr
